How long we keep information
Tailwind Tuition is committed to protecting personal data and ensuring compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). This policy outlines how long we retain different types of data and when it is securely deleted.

Student Records (names, contact details, progress notes): Up to 6 years (contractual/legal obligations).

Financial Records (invoices, payments, tax documents): 6 years (HMRC tax compliance).

Marketing Data (email lists, enquiries): Until consent withdrawn or 2 years if inactive (GDPR compliance).

Recorded Lessons (if applicable): 3-12 months (quality control and student review).

Secure Data Deletion

At the end of the retention period, data will be securely deleted:

Digital records: Permanently deleted from all systems and backups.

Data will be reviewed annually to ensure unnecessary records are deleted.
